Quilt and Fabric Store

Mrs. Sew-n-Sew’s Quilt Shop is housed in a circa 1910 building in the heart of St. Maries, Idaho. The elaborate stamped tin ceiling and the 14 foot walls provide the perfect backdrop for displaying quilts and wall hangings. The shop is well stocked with 1500 bolts of premium cotton quilting fabric and cotton flannel. Quilters will be delighted to find their favorite lines of fabric as well as plenty of books, patterns and notions.

Owners Nona and Gary Davis both design under their “Another Sew-n-Sew Designs” label. Nona’s designs tend to feature traditional piecing techniques, while Gary has found a niche with realistic wildlife designs and a humorous look at hunting adventures. A full collection of samples are always on display with kits and patterns available on this site under the appropriate link.

Gary Davis is the inventor of the Chameleon Gripper, a display system that utilizes rare earth magnets to display quilted art or paper art. Chameleon Grippers disappear, chameleon like, and do not detract from your art work. No sleeves or tacks are required. Nona's book, Top This! is a versatile book which features 24 designs, two for each month of the year. Designed with the busy quilter in mind, most of the projects are table toppers or runners, but features some larger quilts and accessories as well.
